Our amazing tour guide, MIchael, made the paintings in each museum come alive with his insights & expertise! In touring the city with him, he shows you the true "magic" of Paris with his history & knowledge as we visited St. Chapelle, Sacre Coeur, Christmas markets, and walking along the cobblestoned streets as we traveled along the Seine. Truly magical & breathtaking! I will never forget seeing the Eiffel Tower for the first time at night with the lights twinkling and the dinner cruise on the Seine is certainly a highlight of the trip! I could go on & on and there are not enough words to say "thank you" to Mary Ann for sharing her love and expertise with us. I joined Mary Ann’s adventure to Nice Carnaval. She had sourced the best things to do in the area – which at this time of year, was to experience the carnivals and festivals which, in France, mark the start of Lent. The tour was very well organised and nothing important was left to chance. For example, I was pleasantly surprised that, not only had Mary Ann pre-booked all the carnival tickets and seemed to have got us the best seats in the house, but also that she guided us (effortlessly) to our destination and back to our hotel, each time. Everything was thought of; from tram tickets to take us to the station; to a pre-booked lunch venue – something which was essential during a town’s busiest day of the year.
This high level of organisation and guidance, made this trip a delight for both those who had travelled extensively; and for those first-timers who were unfamiliar with European travel. On the strength of this, I would not hesitate to recommend her Enchanted Traveler tours.
Oh – and her unexpected provision of confetti, boas, masks and the like, really helped us get in the festival spirit – and I’ll carry with me the happy memories (and photos!) of our confetti-strewn party for many years to come.

The magic of Italy! Rome, Venice, Florence, Tuscany - impossible to pick a favorite! It's clear that months of preparation and years of experience resulted in an extremely well-organized tour, with every detail arranged and prepared perfectly to make a complicated multi-day, multi-country trip run smoothly, from hotels to train travel to day trips. Excellent mix of planned activities and free time plus the flexibility to sit out planned events if a traveler decides last minute they'd rather explore another activity. Mary Ann, when I think of what a great time I enjoyed I get teary eyed, my Italy and France trip was a dream of 45 plus years. The price package was affordable, the accommodations were very acceptable & I might even attempt to cook pasta from scratch. We loved the tours of the olive oil farm and the wineries. My granddaughters and I are planning on enjoying "The Paris at Christmas" trip, that's how impressed I was.

Mary Ann is a lifesaver! She helped me plan a “once in a lifetime” trip over Christmas for nine of our family members, aged 17 to 70. Her help and advice was invaluable. Some of us had been to Paris before but planning a trip for that many people and with so much going on we really needed expert help and we certainly got it. We stayed at a fabulous apartment in the 7th which was beautiful and very roomy. Everyone had a wonderful time and raved about everything from accommodations to meals to our schedule and all they were able to see and do in the 11 days we were there. Mary Ann also helped us set up excellent transport to get our large group where we needed to go, which was essential as my 70 year old Mother in law has mobility issues and couldn’t do the walking the younger members of the family could. I can recommend her and her services without reservations - you can’t go wrong!

Having been to Paris multiple times before, this was the first time with the family and I wanted to ensure they got to see ALL of Paris, not just the typical things. Mary Ann was outstanding in understanding our requests, making recommendations and once decided, planning the itinerary. From something as simple as a bakery tour in the Montmarte neighborhood (which was outstanding) to the Sunday Brunch (elegant and delicious) and an afternoon in the Marais district, the trip was far more memorable and complete than if we just spent our time on the Champs Elysee and Eiffel Tower. The Normandy D-Day Beaches trip was truly one of the most memorable days of the trip - highly recommended. Our tour guide was truly outstanding! My daughter and I just spent a fabulous week in Paris in January. Mary Ann’s trip planning was instrumental in making the trip amazing. Prior to arriving in Paris, Mary Ann worked with us to plan an itinerary for our trip. Because each day was so organized we were able to see a lot of Paris in a week. The hotel accommodations were great and the location was great too. A highlight of the trip was a bread making class with a French baker at a local Parisian bakery. We loved the class! Thanks to Mary Ann for the wonderful suggestion. Mary Ann also arranged a one-day tour with an American tour guide who has lived in Paris for years. He was fabulous, and gave us great tips on navigating our way through Paris. I cannot thank Mary Ann enough for sharing her expertise of Paris and for making our trip to Paris so memorable. I was referred to Mary Ann thru the Paris apartment rental company, with whom I had already booked my mom and I into an apartment for a 10 day, once in a life time, mother-daughter trip.
After struggling for weeks to research and gather information, when it came down to actually sending emails or calling to check on availability, making reservations and purchasing tickets; having minimal French language skills; I knew I needed help.
After contacting Mary Ann and within probably 3-5 emails and 2 or 3 phone calls, over the next 2-3 weeks we had our 10 day itinerary all planned out, reservations booked and tickets purchased. DONE! She followed up to make sure that I had everything I needed before leaving the US and remained available thru the trip (although everything went smoothly so we didn’t need this, but it was nice to know that she remained available).
She made great suggestions on how to set up the itinerary and when to visit each venue, so as to optimize and make our experience special. She booked us for an evening concert at St. Chapelle just before sunset so that the stained glass windows were perfectly lit up, and a delicious Sunday brunch. We had personal guides for tours of the museums, the President Wilson Market and a even a walking tour for tasting chocolates. YUM! We had a photo shoot session in which we were able to get great professional pictures of the two of us individually and together that didn’t look like selfies. She offered her expertise in helping to select a spa for a day of pampering and a pastry cooking class too. We had a full itinerary; that fortunately also included free time to linger; which we used for sipping a tea, cafe’ or chocolate chaud (hot chocolate) in a street corner cafe and experiencing the joie de vivre that is France.
Her suggestions for mobile apps for city navigation and language assistance, along with the Wifi hotspot I rented, were invaluable in helping with navigation (walking and Metro), and assisting with selecting venues, sites and restaurants during our free time.
Job well done Mary Ann, we had a fabulous, once-in-a-lifetime trip.

Mary Ann patiently and carefully planned for every detail of our trip, from leaving Fort Worth and arranging activities, to arriving back home.
